Project Launching Ceremony

The official launching ceremony of the Sri Hartamas Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) marks a significant milestone in Malaysia’s commitment to sustainable wastewater management. The event was officiated by representatives from the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) and the Department of Sewerage Services (JPP), alongside key project stakeholders and partners.

The ceremony highlighted the project’s role as the first Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) sewerage system in Malaysia, symbolizing a major step towards innovation, environmental stewardship, and urban resilience. Through the integration of advanced treatment technology, the STP Sri Hartamas sets a new benchmark for future sewerage infrastructure in the country.
