Project Milestone

The Sri Hartamas Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) project marks a significant advancement in Malaysia’s wastewater management infrastructure. The project officially commenced in September 2024, with full-scale construction activities beginning in 2025 and targeted for completion by September 2027.

This modern facility integrates Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) technology, a first-of-its-kind application at this scale in Malaysia — ensuring higher treatment efficiency, improved effluent quality, and greater environmental sustainability.

Key milestones include establishing the project site, progressing civil and mechanical works, installing advanced treatment systems, and commissioning operational units. Upon completion, the STP will significantly enhance local sewerage capacity and contribute to cleaner waterways and a more sustainable urban ecosystem for the Sri Hartamas community.
